    You had made it when you could sit in the back of the bus. Unless you lived in my school district where the bus went to the elementary/middle school first before comming down the the high school. Snot nosed punks.

    Too bad my mom drove me so I never went through this process (and since I lived too close to the schools anyway, I had to walk).

    The seating arrangement mirrors what it was in the classes I went to anyway, I was usually in the middle rather than the front but the back row guys still picked on me.

    We had much older “kids” like Simpsons’ Kearney (who in turn had Kearney Jrs.) Most kids were in and out of grade school after a few years, but these guys were lifers. They sat in the back…
