This is the end of the sad strips/shorts folks, trust me. There won’t be another one for some time…

This week’s short was depressing. It was hard to make and I’ve never been more unsure of a short than this one. It cut very deep and I never realized how much this really affected be until now. I hope you guys liked it and I promise that there won’t be another like this for quite some time…
Here’s the short in case you missed it.
So this it the thumbnail process. I print out my “script” and pick my shots for every short. This is a good way to work really fast and rough and just think about the cuts, compositions, and general cinematography.
You can see here I’ll draw multiple angles and just pick the one that works. After this process is the actual storyboard.
Here’s the final short in case you missed it! Enjoy!
Here’s the rough version for this week’s strip A Prize At The Bottom:
This strip was a lot of fun. It’s actually one of the first strips I did. I actually held off on airing it because I thought there were just too many strips about food.
I love doing expressions, so that why there are a bunch of floating head expressions for the fourth panel. That’s one thing I really miss from doing BPM, but the rewards for AA far out way that.
Another interesting fact about this strip: my parents swear they don’t remember this ever happening. It’s funny how one event can really affect people in different ways, some people just block it out, other are scarred for life (not really).
