We wouldn’t go McDonald’s very often…
“The Grate” Inks
Here’s an example of what get changed by the inking process, not much of anything. Basically, I’m just trying to add some missing details, maybe some shadows, and BG textures.

“The Grate” Storyboard
This was my “prison” episode. I wanted to hold shots longer, and make it seem like there was a lot of time passing. Also tried to keep all the staging very regimented and as oppressive as I could.
Here’s the results:
“The Grate” script
Here’s the script for episode 60 “The Grate”:
As you can see, I don’t format my script like normal scripts. These, I write as conversational dialogue and then go back and then put in the visuals and pull out some dialogue. I wish I could show and animate everything, but I just don’t have the time to make them that complicated!

Episode 60 “The Grate”
Here’s this week’s episode (just in case you missed it):
“Dream House” Inks
Here’s an example of the color changes I make sometimes during the inking phase. The last scene is changed to purple. In the board, I would usually indicate that by using black. I always try to add contrast and interest whenever I can as long as it doesn’t compete with the story.
