We had a record player in our house. It was in the dining room (yeah, my house was that big) and thats where it was. I’d put it on and go about my playtime. The trouble was my parents would turn it off since I odviously wasn’t listening to it. The funny thing is as an adult, I usually have a tv on somewhere for back ground noise.

Wow, me too. A lot of times I need something there to fill that space! 🙂

I had to say my late mother did that all the time as well Wolf. Apparently it didn’t seem all that unusual to have the TV set on 24/7 at all at some point (especially when I was watching/listening to those message board channels with their “Beautiful Music” selection). I came to think that was just normal, like having a phone in the bathroom (as we did as well).

Never did have that Pac-Man album, but having listen to it a while back, I can see how a young’un would get turned on to that as much as dated Disco did to me!

I had the same DISCO MICKEY album and played it to death. I bought the CD about 15 years ago at ODD LOT and never listened to it but now my 3 year old daughter is playing it non stop. The Circle is now complete.

Awesome! That’s amazing! If I had kids, I would force them to listen to this album on vinyl! LOL

I would too (having listen to it on an audio cassette in my youth though).

I would also spend hours and hours and hours listening to CHIPMUNK ROCK. I remember using my own hard saved money to buy that album. I loved it so much I joined the CHIPMUNK fan club. I remember spending countless hours staring at the interior art and trying to recreate the drawings.

Yep! Same here, but I was drawing the way less complicated character PAC-Man! 🙂
