Who are you? And how did you get my Mother? O_o

Eh, my Mom wasn’t too bad, all she asked of us was that we ate with our mouths closed and didn’t fart at the table. Of course I still did anyways.

I never understood people’s issues with elbows on the table. Fuck you, I put my elbows where I damn well please. Same with baseball caps, I’ll wear it where I want dammit.

I heard the hat things was out of respect for the architect, I wonder if that is true…

I found this after some digging..

“traditionally, etiquette dictated that men remove their hats in restaurants. The reasoning was that a man’s hat was designed to protect him from the elements, so it might be wet or dirty, says Jane Smith, who designs period hats for British theater and film. Women, on the other hand, traditionally kept their hats on when dining out. Their hats were designed to be unique and eye-catching, and were usually attached to their hair with a hatpin, so removing them would have been impractical and might have dislodged the women’s coiffures.”

But honestly I don’t care, I wear a baseball cap everywhere I go when I am not working.

Ha! Ha! I guess if it’s not harming anyone, why not?

Super cute though! I love the composition in the first panel.

We had very good manners, but my brother my mother and I have all won burping contests!

Yep, my mother busted my chops as well. The last panel reminds me a great little record by JERRY LEWIS called THE NOISY EATER. My kids love it and it’s all about eating with manners.
